The Department of Home Science was established in the year 2010 and Honours course commenced from the year 2014. The programmes offered by the Department include a 3 years BSc/BA Home science degree comprising of 6 semesters. A four years BSc/BA Home science degree course consisting of 8 semesters was introduced after the onset of NEP 2020. The objectives of the Department is to provide students with comprehensive education in the field of Home Science by providing relevant knowledge, skills and attitude in academics, research and community service.
